I've always felt that we had a traditional marriage, but prior to this I've only had a very generalized idea of what qualified as a traditional marriage and never focused on the specific elements. I looked around on the web and, no surprise, found lots of different opinions about it. There was one article that I found especially helpful: ww.newinterestingfacts.com/trad-wife-rules-from-the-50s-trying-to-make-a-comeback/
The article lists 15 trad wife rules. There is an explanation and discussion of each rule, though some of the discussion, in seeking to 'update' the 1950's norm, really undercuts the essence of traditional marriage. And I don't think this list is by any means exhaustive but at least it's a start. Here are the rules:
1. Always Greet Your Husband With A Smile And A Kiss
2. Have Dinner Ready On Time
3. Keep The House Clean And Tidy
4. Dress To Impress Your Husband
5. Never Complain Or Nag
6. Be A Good Listener
7. Don’t Interrupt Your Husband
8. Be Supportive Of Your Husband’s Career
9. Be A Good Mother
10. Be A Good Cook
11. Don’t Discuss Marital Problems With Others
12. Be A Gracious Hostess
13. Be Financially Responsible
14. Be Respectful Of Your Husband’s Authority
15. Don’t Work Outside The Home

I flunk #15 right off the bat, because I do work outside the home. But I really do seek to follow the other rules and, to be honest, at one time or another I've been spanked for breaking just about all of them.
