 Thought we could introduce ourselves and our families here. My name is Sarah I am a single mom, but have support of friends and church. From the Midwest USA here.

I have close families who are good friends that also discipline, my best gal friend has two kids also and we help each other.

My son Matthew is 7 and Marie is 9. They certainly grow up fast! I am an old fashioned mom with some modern mixed in. I do use firm discipline which includes spanking, but from a place of love and wanting them to learn grow and thrive.

I personally see sooo many children whose parents aren't, well parenting! and Hopefully this forum can help encourage parents in that way. Its been shown children need and even desire boundaries.

I think we can discuss how we discipline clearly while still being I don't know, modest in our descriptions? Hope we can all chat and be friends!
