Well where do I begin? First of all you say you have a year! WRONG!! You have the rest of your life. Second, I may be wrong, but it sounds like you might be relying on her to much, she may be feeling to much pressure from you to pick a school. Let her pick and you never know she may pick ucsd. But the main thing in my mind is SHE WAS 14. 1 She lied to you and hid that for 2 years. Did you talk her her friends and family? I know that's what I did when we started getting serious. I talked to her friends and mom pretty soon after we got engaged. I just believe that since she lied to you, you have to keep that in mind.
