Subject: Um...help

Might as well start off quick. Been talking to a girl for a year, recently found myself becoming attracted to her. I told her this in an instant message and she told me that she had the same feelings. I really don't know how to go with this. I started doing the whole chat thing about a year ago, so I'm a relative novice when it comes to this sort of thing. I am leery of this whole online thing, but I trust her very much and have no reason to doubt her feelings. I'd like to continue to talk to her, but with our feelings towards each other I'm not to sure how to go about it. Do I continue to talk to her as a friend or do I try to escalate our friendship towards I guess it would be an online boyfriend, girlfriend situation? I really don't have a clue how to go about this and would like any advice toward this problem.
