Subject: READY TO MOVE FORWARD

Hi everyone. Basically, I just need advice. I have been living with bf for alost a year, and we have been together for almost 3 years. Our home situation made living together the right thing to do, and it is working out to be a very satifying decision. However, we are very much in love and want to get married. The hard part is that we have no choice but to pay for everything ourselves, and with the bills it is hard to save for our future, let alone a nice wedding. We are confidenta small wedding will make us happy, but my dream is to have the white dress, the church, the limos....everything the princess wants....but without having to go into debt to have. It is so ridiculous that a fancy dream wedding costs close to a car, or a down payment on a house! It is very upsetting because we both are willing to compromise what we origionally wanted to be able to do this ourselves. But I want to be selfish and have it all! We both work hard and are happy with what we have. The only problem is that I feel I deserve a dream wedding, and I don't think it is going to happen.

People get maried every day and many are not as in love as we are. Please understand that I do not want to get married because I have married friends....actually, my friends make me think about NEVER getting married. But here is a funny situation...I have a friend who married her H.S. sweetheart. He cheated on her, she got into a car accident, they got back together. He still cheats on her, but they used the insurance money for the wedding, and POOF, they have a dream wedding. I feel as though this is a test...that if this is something we want so badly, it isn't going to come easy.

Does anyone have any advice? Either to make me feel better or how to come up with the money for my dream wedding?

We waited so long to be together, I just want everything perfect. Damn those romance novels for corrupting my reality! hahaha. Just kidding. I try to not let this get me down.
