Loompanics has pretty titles and interesting subjects,
but I have not been impressed with the quality or safety,
or usefulness of the numerus books I’ve bought from them
during the last couple of decades.

Ten cents a page for that crap ! Rip !

I have wondered for years why the ‘Great Satan” was
rarely a target. Never a target till recently. The folks that
smuggle in drugs could just as easily bring in whatever
weapons a terrorist might want.

It just don’t make sense.

My main point concerned the power of individuals in
relation to the state.

Is it wise to bother someone for smoking a joint or not
wearing a seatbelt, when that someone could destroy
a city if she wanted ?

Remember the ‘cold’ war and the MAD policy of nuke deterrent ?
It was basically a standoff, you hurt me, I’ll hurt you worse.

Are we getting close to the situation where many individuals can
maintain the same sorta threat ?

If the government thugs don’t leave us alone and quit attacking us,
will we soon be able to effectively defend ourselves ? Mutually assured
destruction, MAD.

Something Big is happening with this. Maybe.

But, I don’t know what it will be.
