Subject: Video, violence, and the net

I have been doing research into the effects of violent video games/ internet on kids lately. One piece of research I found was that with violent virtual reality games, college students became more aggressive regardless of gender or prior levels of hostility. Then I came online the other day and saw this: "IntelPlay Me2Cam with Fun Fair CD-ROM"- in short, it's a camera that allows the player to be "in" the game. Here is a line from the ad: "Your child is INSIDE a virtual world!" The games that are accompanied with this software seem innocent enough, but- WOW. It's coming, folks... What do you think about this?????
