He went by the name of Colonel Eyewire and was the Captain of the ship. "M'lud, we will chart the territory south of 'ere as much as we can, then come back."Good," said Lord Ironstripe. "Come before the vermin do." Vermin! Eyewire fainted with thud. "Only joking!" "I'll take care of him." Seargeant Nightpaw, eldest child of Tarquin and Rosie Woodsorrel stepped up. "Goodbye!" yelled 10 hares and a badger Lord. "Goodbye!" yelled 39 hares, the 40th one had fainted.With that last goodbye, the Sealord drifted off. "I wish Eyewire hadn't put himself in charge of the Sealord," said Ironstripe to Field Marshal Thistle. "Yes," replied Thistle, the highest rank left."I do hope Nightpaw takes over as ship captain." "Seargeant, you mean." Thistle's partner, Lance Corporal Oregano ran up to them."What luck with the new recruits, Ori?" asked Thistle. "Well, their tearful that they couldn't go on the voyage, but Shadowear, that son of Tarquin and Rosie struts around giving comands as if he owns the place.He is too proud of his new rank as Garrison Captain." Night closed in on the mountain, leaving all happily scoffing supper.
