Here is chap.2 I'm changing Mathalee's name to Riverkell" on 01:49:10 05/15/03 Thu Kit swung loose with a scream. It seemeed that she fell forever when it was only a few feet. "Eulaliaaaaa!" Kit looked up. She tried to stop the swinging but couldn't. She had been swinging from her belt for the past moment and it was hurting her belly. Kit gasped with fear when she saw a half a dozen weasels climbing her tree. "Oh no!" She whispered. Kit fought to catch a nearby branch. She loosend her belt, "Take that!" She yelled and threw her belt at the nearest vermin. She climbed to the next tree. "Now who was yelling that funny word?" She wondered outloud. As if on cue three hares came into view. They were fighting toward Her! " Hey! I'm here! Save me! Up here! " Kit started to climb down. 'Those hares are going to die if I don't do something!' She thought. When she was near the ground she yelled again, "Hey! Over here! Help! EEK!" She screamed as a dirty paw grabbed her ankle. "Let me go!" She yeled at the grinning weasel. He was about to pull her from the tree completly when a hare jumped across the clearing and landed underneath him. "One wrong move and I'll slice your tail scurvy vermin Wot!" The weasel yelled out and climbed past Kitelly quickly. Kit was so shocked that she could hardly speak to her rescuer, "Ththankya' you sir!" In a bound he was on the branch beside her. "No need to thank me wot! With the long patrol don'tcha'know! But less chitchat marm! We gotta scale this tree!" The hare whistles and the other two start fighting towards the tree. Halfway there one of them fell with a scream. The other lept for the tree. When he made it he swept past Kit and started climbing with expertise. Kit jumped after him. She lept for a branch then another. This was a good climbing tree. Kit knew trees. Lepelee had taught her how to climb. But all her teachings didn't seem to be helping. Kit was soon far behind.
