I wrote this story some time ago and never read it to anybeast. So... Here I go...
A long time ago, the wolf lived with our people. Back then, the wolfs fur was white as snow. He loved our people, but one little girl he seemed to love the most. He fed her when she was hungry. He comfort he when she was lonely. He licked her tears away when she was sad. Oh, how he loved her. He wished to spend the rest of his days with her but that was not to be. One day he left the girl to go hunting. Half the day went by and he knew something was wrong. He could feel it in his heart. So he ran back to the village. He looked up and saw something he wished he didn't see. Smoke rose high above the village. His heart beat hard in his chest. He ran as fast as he could back to the village. He jumped through a window of the girl's hut. He looked for her. The fire burned his fur, but he didn't care. Finally, when he could not find the girl, he left the hut. That night, after the fire died away and the embers still glowed, he sat there staring at the ashes of her hut. He heart was broken. He raised his head and let out a long, pitiful cry. Even today, the wolf's fur is burned. Even today, the wolf misses the girl. Even today, The Wolf cries out.
