The gale turns crisp,
Around it does dance.
Bitting and stinging,
pulling leaves in it's prance.

The trees, oak and birch,
Chilled to the bark,
No more leaves do they bear,
No more birds, no lark.

The wind blows and blows,
it's relentless indeed.
It cares not for the cold,
It only runs free.

For the reign of wind is here,
It dances and runs.
Winter follows it close,
Not soon shall Spring come.

A/N: Personally, I find this one lacking, compared to my other poems. But that's just me. Whatcha all think?
