She murmured softly before she turned to her other side so she was facing him, her face tucked into the curve of his neck as her hand shifted to fist over the tight skin on his side. Her eyes felt suspiciously wet and she still wasn't quite sure why but it was obvious as she blinked against his neck and the moisture seeped onto his warm skin that she in, or close to being in, tears. Letting her hand slide to wrap her arm around him, tugging herself closer to his solid, oh so familiar body.

  • He sighed quietly and just tightened his arms around her, one hand fisted gently in her long, dark hair and then relaxed to smooth slowly down the back of her head. There was nothing he could really say to her and so he just remained quiet, but after a moment of silence, dipped his head to catch her lips for a lingering moment, eyes sliding slowly shut.
