Hmmmm...the way Norman describes the lightships of the builders is that their technology allows them to be multi-dimensional. That they traverse the inner planes in order to cut out the vast distances of physical space. This is what allowed them to outrun the physical-plane technology of the fallen ones that waged war on them. Much like a master being able to dissolve his physical body and travel at the speed of thought (his body being the physical, astral and causal universes) and pulling together the light-tissues (prana) and making them form a physical body again by the power of his will.
I dont think there is much of a focus on UFO's although he does mention these Mu's, the Builders' ships of light frequently in his book. Something to consider is that its only us still referring to them as UFO's (unidentified) whereas he is coming from a position of having experienced what these ships actually are. Also, it doesnt mean that all of the things we have documented as UFO's are necessarily the Mus of the Builders, there may well be craft designed by other extra-terrestrial beings which is something Norman has mentioned in his book also.
We only regard stuff as being weird if we dont understand it or CHOOSE not to believe it. That doesnt mean it doesnt exist necessarily, just that we havent experienced something like that yet (if in fact it does exist). Hence the necessity to keep an open mind and not fall victim to the other extreme of baseless condemnation. I think sometimes people choose not to believe something because they are outraged at the possibility that there is stuff out there that they have no idea about and that they havent experienced. Its an arrogant form of thinking and we see this kind of narrowness everywhere.
If this Reality is truly the field of all possible experience as the masters claim, you just cant disclaim the possibility of anything being possible.
