The room was dark. Zero slept quietly in his capsule. Suddenly, he awoke to the sound of approaching footsteps. As the twin sliding doors parted, a light brighter than he could stand flooded into the room. The image of a man appeared, an old Proffessor in a worn lab coat, with frazzled hair, and a moustache. The gravelly voice spoke to him.
"Zero. My masterpiece."
"Who are you?"
"After him, he is my nemisis, our rivalry. He is what gives me motivation in life. Now go! Destroy him! That's an order!"
"What? Who are you? --Wait!"
The Professor turned, and the door closed, but Zero collapsed to his knees crying out in pain. Something in his head...it hurt. Oh! The pain! It sent shockwaves rippling through his whole body! It hurt so much... he screamed louder, and louder until....
in a flick of an instant, something deep inside him just snapped. A red rage filled his eyes. Yes...Zero knew what he had to do. He knew what his target was. This nemisis...he was Zero's target! He would do this...he would destroy Mega Man! Zero bounded up to his feet, and ran for the shuttle bay. Moments later, a shuttle ripped through the atmosphere like a saw toothed blade. Zero was going to the moon.
(okay. since there is no mention of Zero NOT actually going to the Moon, then that means it really COULD have happened!
And just a final note...please don't get mad at me for the cursing message. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, or take anyone's rights away. I just don't like to read them. I hope everyone can at least respect that. Thanks again!)
