A post and an appology

( G-Man, pardon my French. I try to cut out as much as I can, but writers instinct sometimes overrides me. I'll try to be more careful )

The battle roared on. Between X, stood Cannon, and past him, Ryujin. X's blade glowed a brilliant blue as he swept passed Cannon, and dove at Ryujin.

Ryujin jumped high into the air, and twirled, comming down at a fierce velocity. Flames surrounded his twirling body, and he became a massive blur of fire. X's eyes filled with amptyness as he saw what was happening. Ryujin was aiming at Cannon!

X dove onto Cannon, knocking them both far from the attack that Ryujin was pulling off. Ryujin crashed into the ground, and flames swept over X's armour, not hitting Cannon because X covered him. X winced, as Cannon noticed.

"Are you okay?" Cannon asked.

Another wince as X began to stand. A bright golden aura of energy flowed from him, as he held the saber steadily, pointing it at Ryujin. A drip of blood dropped from X's lips. ( X is supposed to look human without his armour. So, Supra put blood under his layer of "skin" to make him seem more human )

Ryujin gave an evil smirk, retaining his posture towards X. Their aura's clashed violently as they met, making the fallen Cannon slide across the spire. X's eyes narrowed, untill he looked pure evil. His green eyes looked dark, and his lips pulled back to a snarl.

"Ryujin, my friend. Prepare for battle..."

Cannon looked up to X. He then stood, making his way slowly, by pushing towards X's aura. /This is it/ he thought. /My only chance to save the blue guy, and my only chance to bring Ryujin back/.

KABOOM!

The explosion made Cannon snap back into reality. There was a huge, smoldering hole of fire...and only Ryujin was left standing. Cannon's eyes widened in fear. /No Way!/. But then, X landed infront of Cannon, and straightened.

"Cannon.." X whispered. "You don't know me, but I know you. Get out of here...and get ahold of Dr Light. He needs your help more than I do..."

Cannon stood silent for a moment...not sure what to say.
