The 1967 Ford "Maryland State Police" car is supposedly an original, clean
390 2 V retail car that was purchased in the Carolinas with 32,000 miles on
it (what 33 year old police car is going to have 33,000 "original" miles on
it)? This car was painted up and equipped like a Maryland State Police car
of that era, but it reportedly is not. The VIN on the car has purportedly
been replaced with one that reflects a "P" code, but is off of a 428
Interceptor of that era! Last time I checked, in my jurisdiction, it is a
criminal offense (read: felony) to fraudulently transfer a VIN from one
vehicle to another, particularly to perpetuate a fraud.
