Author: mun [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 01:33:35 03/29/04 Mon my comp crashed on me!!! no internet access. word cant start. processin is as slow as a snail..... no no no, make its speed almost zero.... like those old pcs even before the pentium era..... no icq, no msn, no hotmail! argh!!!! it was hell!!! then i brought my floppy disk over to cozi's place hoping to use his computer n continue on the paper. then, the laptop din recognise my floppy cos it was not formatted! wat does it mean by formatted? my NEC laptop never asked me to format my disk before. BLOODY HELL...... hahaha i hate computers who fail on us! it is the few moments when i feel tat AI is gettin a hold on mankind n it is this kind of situation when i really wish for THE ONE to rescue us! hahah luckily it juz recovered abit yesterday. still no network but a working word processor is juz fine for me. i made so many back up copies of my work. on the hard disk (although not so wise) n on 3 floppies!!! hahaah kiasuism! finally finally it is done! i handed my nightmare up. dropped it into the pigeon hole! phew..... my laptop is handicapped now..... WAT IS A LAPTOP WITH NO INTERNET????? *clenchin fist* hahaha oops *deep bow* how can i let a laptop dictate my feelings? i am COOL way COOL...... i had my tamil oral this morning. sigh.... not much luck today. was reading the passage outside my lecturer's room n he never gave explicit instructions tat we cant look at notes! heee n then i had too many words tat i dunno so i decided to juz take out my notes n look. juz when i flipped open the book, my lect came out to ask me in (DAMN, i din even get to see the word in the notes! got penalised for 'cheating' tat i had gained nothing out of it) orite orite it was wrong of me. but damn suay lah...... he was nice enough to give me 12/20 for my reading. he asked me some questions n i dun really understand many of them. hope i did not fail tat bit. but then i got full marks for vocabulary! tat is the only thing i am proud of. i picked a category n gave him 10 tamil words with meanings. wont b getting an A.... having this formal 20mins oral persuasive presentation. i dun have any other formal top or shirts other than the one i wore to my teachin interview. so i am gng to wear tat piece again. wat the heck! i am gng to pair it with khaki skirt so it wont look tat 'repeated'. i am cool with presentations now. i scored 9/10 with the previous one. hehehe we are meeting up this sunday for meiru's bdae!! any idea wat to do? something diff?
