cheer up jieying... grades doesn't mean anything and it definitely shouldn't affect ur decision to further ur studies. afterall grades is just an one-off thing and furthering ur studies will affect u life long!

we dun get much subsidise from the govt cos we are PR... so u are right abt sending my dad to private or govt hospitals... can't transfer to SGH now cos of govt policy. but the gleneagles one is willing to see my dad.. so i also not sure.. this one arranged by my dad's boss... i am just sitting ard and waiting. =) hope it all turns out well!

i think i can get qi's point abt the 5th book turning into an adult book... it's already beginning to sound like one in the 4th book. Too complicated for a kid. J K Rowling is getting a bit mental there. She is putting too much 'realities' into her supposedly fiction book. zhou3 huo3 ru4 muo2 liao. or perhaps the characters are growing older too... potter is supposed to be what in 7th grade or sth by now.. hhaha.. somehow it reminds me of the days when i used to read sweet valley twins... then suddenly was sweet valley high.. .and sweet valley university... blah.... the plot just gets so expected....

as for the rest.. enjoy man.. it's the school hols.. till what august??
