While I agree that Chandra's case is unfortunate and I pray for her safe return but I think it is highly hypocritical to say that your friends are more important than someone else's family members, no matter how famous. I'm sure Kathy Griffin does not need me to defend her and neither does Gary(he does quite the job) but I want you to look at how each poster attacks another poster and draw the line at bring in outside family members as a point of attack. Would you like your mother, father or other family members attacked by some unknown poster that can be read by a brother, sister or other family member. Your board could be a source of good information and discussion without being personal. Fun is fun and crass is crass.

I agree with most of your argument - I wish this board would discuss more basketball and or Xavier related topics. We are presented with a situation where there will be an automatic response and continuing of the argument whenever Gary and or his sister is brought up. I wish people were nicer to both of them as whenever people post about either - both boards are subjected to less basketball talk and more Gary talk. Hopefully when the season starts we can talk about Sato and his need to drive to the basket more.
