The Bob Huggins Political Machine is a mad genius and the worst thing to happen to U.C. basketball since D.N.A. testing. U.C players shouldn't be in bars...they should be behind them. They should be required to play at the Terre Haute Supermax facility.
The ethically impoverished Bob Huggins is a pestilence that has insidiously eroded the values of otherwise ethical people. Gerald O'Dell attempted to rid Clifton of this virus, but Baleful Bob prevailed and installed the Bob Goin puppet regime.
BHPM is correct in noting the complicity of the local scribes. Paul "Pander Bear" Daugherty should call his Huggin love-poems, "Ode to A Greasy Worm." And I too found disconcerting that the usually outstanding Bill Koch omitted reference to Little being apprehended in possession of marijuana. Most galling was last year's Tim Sullivan piece regarding B.J. Grove's alleged battering of his pregnant girlfriend. Sullie portrayed it as a He said-She said scenario. What he neglected to mention were the police photos depicting a bruised, battered woman and Prosecutor Mike Allen's comments reflecting disappointment that the case didn't proceed.
So where is the outrage? You can bet Lance McAlister has all but forgotten about that poor woman who was just the latest victim of the slobbbering, clobbering Cats. Clifton is shrouded in sin and citizens shouldn't be concerned with a U.C. fastbreak as much as jailbreak.

[> BJ has assured me that his "misunderstanding" with his pregnant girlfriend was just a classic example of "HE SAID SHE SAID." According to BJ , SHE SAID something that he didn't agree with and HE SAID, "Meet the back of my hand bitch." Please lets let what happened in the past stay in the past, I punished BJ by taking away his Ike Turner CDs, and I punished D. Little by taking away his bong so he keeps burning his long boney fingers on joints. -- Bob Huggins, 16:27:02 08/16/01 Thu

[> Full Disclosure, you rock my world. The piece about Sullivan and the "He said-She said scenario" are right on. The woman in question was eight months pregnant with BJ Groves baby. He threw her into a bathtub and smashed beer bottles on her head. They had the screaming 911 call, and the bloody battered photos. He was indicted on felony charges by a Hamilton County Grand Jury. The prosecuter still wanted to proceed when she refused to testify. And Tim Sullivan chalks it up to a "He said-She said thing". What a blatent coverup. Excellent post. -- The Bob Huggins Political Machine, 21:58:32 08/17/01 Fri
