Lois, this document is hilarious.

The First Presidency has been allowing the ordination of avowed practicing homosexuals for ages. It has been providing same-sex "shacking up ceremonies" to allow same-sex couples to publicly walk down the aisle in a CofC sanctuary, exchange vows, and rings in front of an audience.

Why, at this late date would the FP even care what anybody thought? That's like Ted Kennedy coming home from Chappaquittick the day after drowning Mary Jo and asking Joan (hypothetically, of course) if she would have any objections to him getting drunk and driving his pregnant girlfriend off a bridge to get rid of a minor problem.

It was a "difficult issue."

George
