I can understand Emma's decision not to move to Utah with the Twelve. Her life had been uprooted enough. And she shared the overwhelming consensus of the western Christian world that polygamy was an abomination in the sight of God. Her decision was a good one, and certainly in some ways Lewis Bidamon was a better husband and father than Joseph. Emma's sons appreciated him as a stepfather.

Wow! That is what William Russell says, that Joseph Smith Jr committed an abomination, but that he, William Russell, is such a good judge of all moral issues that he can decide that the Bible is incorrect in naming homosexuality as an abomination. Really, just how hypocritical, self righteous and judgmental (remember that c-not-of-c members never judge, not!) can this man be?!!?

Remember people that William Russell et al hate Joseph Smith Jr. They claimed to the National Council of Churches that the c-not-of-c was started by Joseph Smith III. I say it was started by Grant McMurray.
