Lois, it occurred to me that homosexuals could have their own country and government if they colonized Mars. That sounded absurd enough, but it was worse than I thought. How does one have a country that is exclusively homosexual?

Just as the wealth of the Roman estate was dependent upon the presence of its slaves, the continuing existence and welfare of homosexuals is dependent upon, of all things, heterosexuals! The disgust that homosexuals show for things "not moving fast enough" is the same contempt that a child has for his parents when they tell him that age 12 is not old enough to learn how to drive, or that age 16 is not old enough to have sex.

Where destruction is in the offing lies in the fact that those in our advanced society who are able to live and survive without doing much that is constructive are determined to destroy everyone and everything that is constructive -- out of childish petulance.

As I have mused before -- when the activists, from phony civil rights activists, to illegal alien activists, to gay rights activists manage to wreck the entire culture, financial system, and government, we will end up back in the Middle Ages. We have to have stable families, stable, reasonably homogenous and integrated population, and democratic rule -- not mobocracy - in order to keep an advanced society functioning.

The Middle Ages was a difficult time. Survival was hard, and anything that worked against survival -- like homosexuality, out of wedlock births, paper money, and consumer loans -- was not looked well upon. Actually, those things are not looked upon well at the moment, either. During the Middle Ages those things were vigorously persecuted. Going back to such an environment will at least give these folks a taste of what intolerance actually is, as opposed to their fantasy that merely being tolerated is intolerable. The irony is that their activities will directly result in the kind of world that Islamic fundamentalists long for -- one in which homosexuals get summarily executed.

The attitude of our modern activists is similar to that of the Jewish establishment in 70 AD. They chafed under foreign rule -- even though it provided a stable economy and government, as well as safety from domestic terrorism and foreign raiders -- and decided that total destruction of everything and everybody was better than not having their own way.

I have started to believe that nihilism, rather than socialism, is the actual driving philosophy behind these nut cases.

I seriously doubt they can wreck the place as fast as I fear they might. But what are future generations going to have to live with after these people get through piloting the liner into an iceberg?

George

Note to David Howard: Homosexuals and GALA are not treated "like everyone else." Nonhomosexuals and/or nonhomosexual activists are barred from the Community of Christ priesthood, says Steve Veazey. Those who are in opposition to standing church law on female ordination are not treated like those in opposition to standing church law on homsexual ordination.

Those opposed to female ordination were ejected from the churches, defrocked, and excommunicated. What happened to those who performed homosexual ordinations and shacking up cermonies (for any orientation?) Answer: Absolutely NOTHING!

It is a screaming idiotic introverted mess when the elite claim that they are the ones being persecuted. Like all those put upon Germans in the Sudetenland back in 1938.
