Our timeframe is a three week span from when Signas first confronted Gate in Moscow. Lifesaver, working with Gate from a secluded location was able to finally reconstruct her body as it was. The challenge was to reanimate her, and restore her pesonality, and behavioral patterns. This was not an easy thing to do. It was Signas' decision to make. The question: Should Alia be told about her death? Or, should Gate erase those memories? It was a tough call. What would Alia do if she confronted to one who had taken her life? Would she seek revenge? Signas had decided to play it safe. A cover story was produced. This was how it would go. There was an accident on her mission. Ryujin X had gotten seperated from them, but somehow he was able to make it back to Earth okay. The mission was a success, but there was a collision in space! Thier shuttle had impacted with debris from the exploding space station. Alia was rendered unconscious, and lost part of her memory. Alia had been ordered to make a hard copy of her memories before she had left for the mission. Signas told her, "Just in case." The truth was that he worried about her. More so because she was not a battle field type of Reploid. She was more the tactical officer, or the intelligent scientist. This would mean that she would retain all memories of her life up until that mission. No one would know the truth. The story would be spread, and believed. In any case, Protoman X did all he could to get her back to Earth safely, but he died heroically in the end. As her shuttle entered the atmosphere, PX lost control, and it crashed. It took Gate 3 weeks to rebuild Alia. In that time, much had happened. All said and done, Alia returned to the base, anxious to greet her fellow comrades. But what news of Mega Man X, or Zero?
