RX had just seen the match between X and 9 from a viewer screen in his quarters. He was totally shocked.
RX: What? X? What is he doing here? last I heard he was missing...and competeing in the tournament? something dos'nt smell right here. Doppler, what are you up to? Hmm, but I have no time to worry about this now...my next match is starting now...
RX dashed down to the arena, and took his place. The announcer named his challenger. Inferno. A medium sized reploid stepped out who was lightly smaller than RX. He had a red and yellow flame pattern covering most of his body. At the top part of each hand was the tip of what seemed to be a hose which came dowm from a pack on his back. These were to fire his spread of flames. He was a fairly agile and cocky reploid, he carried no external weapons, only the ones built into his body.
C: And over here we have Kaiser!
The crowed cheered in a frenzy. Kaiser became somewhat of a fan favourite due to his unpredictability and record short matches. The crowds always looked on with great anticipation to see what kind of move he'd do next, as they were always so fast and unexpected, half the time his oponants did not even have any time to react. And he never did any interviews or talk to anyone, he somewhat of a mysterious character to them, and they loved it. They had even began to try and come up with stories about his past and his creation. Some say he was a secret government project, others thought he was dopplers secret weapon and the tournament was just a test run for him. Of course none of this was true, but Kaiser did not care to confirm or deny these rumours so they ran rampant.
C: Ok, ready....fight!
Inferno: Don't worry, this won't take long! (inferno mocked)
RX simply did'nt say anything and stood perfectly still.
Inferno: Why arn't you attacking? you scared or something? Hahahahaha!, well if you won't make the 1st move I will!
Inferno lifted both arms and fired a huge spread of flames, so much so that half the arena was engulfed. RX was swallowed up by the flames.
Inferno: Heh, thats why they call me Inferno pal, like I said, it did'nt take long...
Suddenly a silhouete began to move trough the flames, RX walked out of the flames unscathed and the flames began to sudside. A huge roar came from the crowd.
Inferno: Your still alive!!?? damn you! you won't be for long!!!
Inferno dashed at RX with a punch, just before his fist hit RX's face there was a quick flash of coloured light, everything and everyone was still for a moment, almost like a picture, then Inferno suddenly slit in half, to show that RX was holding his energy saber. The crowed cheered, and reporters ran up to him and began to bombard him with questions, but RX simply tunred his back and walked off back to his quarters.
Reporter: Well, he's as friendly as ever. Yes ladies and gentlemen, that was one of the contest favourites, the Mysterious "Kaiser". We look forward to more of his stunning matches. And hopefully some more information on this mysterious warrior. This is Cathy Jones, reporting for "NEWSFLASH", signing out!
