After his last match RX had little time to contemplate on what was happening and what were the missing pieces of the puzzle as it seemed that only a short time after his last match was over he was now up again.
RX walked to the centre of the ring with the announcers usual phrases and familiar crowd cheers.
The comentator then called on the other fighter, out walked an average sized reploid, with an energy saber on his back and shoulder mounted cannon. He was black with some purple stripes around his wrists, ankles and other joints, he had a blue crystal on his helmet and his eyes were purple.
C: OK, now lets get on with this sure to be thrilling match!-Fight!
RX: Humph...this will be over quick..(he thought to himself)
Mirrage dashed at RX with a sword attack and RX quickly blocked and then counter attacked in the same way he had won all of his matches, only this time he had underestimated his oponant, his agility was amazing and he easily avoided RX's attack
RX: Wha? where did he go?
From the ari with a decending blade attack came Mirrage, RX realised just in time and fliped backwards, then the two began to exchange blows with their sabers, none seeming to have any advantage over the other
RX: (Who the hell is this guy?, no one should be able to keep up with me like this...something strange is going on...his agility is good...but not THAT good...)
Suddenly RX slashed with his saber but Mirrage had alread dodged the attack, and then came down at an angle slicing RX's shoulder.
RX: Arghh!
RX grabbed his shoulder in pain..and then angrilly began a barrage of attacks with his saber, but Mirrage was countering them and blocking the same as always, RX slashed and Mirrage jumped backwards
RX: Damn you! why can't I hit him!?
RX dashed at Mirrage and he did vice-versa, their swords clashed in the centre of the arena and their was a huge flash of energy, then both swords were flung out of their users hands to oposite sides of the arena by the force.
RX: Now your mine..your sword skills may be good, but no-one can compete with me in hand to hand combat!
Mirrage: We shall see...
RX dashed at Mirrage and layed into him with a barrage of punches and kicks and other hand techniques, but again it was the same result, all were either countered, blocked or avoided. RX ran with a punch but Mirrage aimed his shoulder cannon and fired and energy blast, which hit RX square in the chest and sent him tumbleing backwards across the arena. He lay on the ground for a second and then slowly stood up in pain, smoke lightly rose from his chestplate as there was now a black burn mark.
RX: (This is impossible! its like he knows my moves are comming before I do them!...wait! thats it!)
RX looked to Mirrages helmet crystal, he had noticed earlier that it seemed to flash just before all of RX's attacks
RX: (Of course! thats it! he IS reading my moves..that crystal must give him the ability to see a few seconds into the future...thats why I could'nt hit him...)
RX smirked from under his cloak
RX: (Your mine now..)
RX stood perfectly still, not making any movements
M: Whats wrong? afraid to attack? heh then why don't I make the 1st move?
Mirrage dashed at RX with an attack, RX seemed not to move or try to avoid it...he waited just until the very last millosecond, and then quickly sidestepped Mirrage's attack and hit him strait in the jaw with an uppercut which sent him flying backwards from the blow and bouncing across the ground..he fliped back up
M: What the? damn you! Hyaaaa!
He came at RX with another attack and this time RX did the same thing, he avoided his attack at the very last second and used his powerpunch, it was a direct hit and his crystal imidiately shattered
M: Arghhh! my crystal!!
RX began to attack wildly and unrelentlessly with multiple lightning fast attacks, Mirrage staggered backward while being forced backwards by the attacks, then RX hit him with a spinning jump kick which knoced him backwards...he slowly got to his feet while holding his chest, he was bearly able to stand, and some brownish-red oil dripped out the side of his mouth.
M: damn...you...!!
RX: I've solved the riddle to your body, I realised that your reaction times were way too fast for any reploid, even myself, you were avoiding before I had even made my attack..I realised that you must have somehow knew them before I made them..and then it dawned on me..it was your crystal, it flashed every time I attacked..and the rest is history, as are you!
M: No! this can't be! I can't be beaten! Not to the likes of you!
RX: Say "Hi" to sigma for me!
M: Wha!!? no waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttt!!!!!!!!!
RX clenched his fist and pulled it backwards, a blue aura of energy began eminatinf from his fist and around his fore arm.
RX: SHORYUKEN!!!!!!!!!!!! (RX shouted)
RX lifted up into the air with a spinning upper cut smashing into Mirrage's chin and lifted him up with RX, a vertice explosion of blue energy exploded from the centre of the arena, all were blinded by the brillinat light, yet looked on with awe, it stretched up into the sky and the entire island base began to shake
Under the island in one of dopllers labs
Maintainace Reploid: What the hell!! these energy readings are off the scale!!! what the hell is going on!! (he said as the whole room shaked)
Then back at the arena the energy shaft seemed to subside and all that could be seen in the distance was RX still in the position from his move in the air and Mirrage's body fell to the ground, fell tp pieces and then exploded...RX made a graceful yet powerful landing as he landed in what looked like a ducked position and the immediate ground around him shook and cracked..
He then stood up and stood in the middle of the aena motionless.
There was total silence as the entire arena was left gobsmaked with their mouths open.
C: My God! We've never seen such a spectacular match! let us hear it for the winner, Kaiser!!!!
A huge roar lifted up from the arena, RX simply ignored everyone and walked back to his quarters.
Doppler: What the hell was that!!!!???
Vile: Hmmm...I'll have to keep an eye on you..Kaiser..
Even X, Zero and BR felt the tremours and ran out to see what had happened just to see the crowd cheer and Kaiser walking away...
