Thanks, detoured for all your comments. I guess this is one episode we can talk about for a very long time! Not like some others .

I think the lawyer reference was because the lawyer they had was a lawyer of real estate and would not have the necessary experience for a murder case. I had the feeling perhaps he was a family friend, too. They would need someone not assciated with them that closely as well as trained in other areas of law, IMHO.

I so agree with you about Sam Waterson. It may be a fine series, yadda, yadda, yadda, but NO WAY is he a better actor than DD! He hosts another program on the History Channel, I think, maybe A&E, and he is the same in his hosting job as he is in his series!! Bizarre. This brings us back to the old conversation of politics in Hollywood, and I think DD doesn't play by the old "standards" or "un-written laws", so he has been blacklisted to some extent. Well, maybe not blacklisted, but decidedly ignored. I'm glad he is a strong person with an even stronger ego; I'm afraid I would be devastated if I were him.

Thanks for the info on "Chiefs". I haven't heard of it, but now am curious so I'll have to check it out!

I'm not on any of those mailing lists. What are they saying about the Red Museum tie-in? "Walk-in's" were explained to Scully by Mulder in that episode, and he seemed to believe in them (Duh, Chantal!), but I can't remember just what he said. I'll have to watch it again. I guess everyone caught that Amber's dad played the head-church guy in Red Museum. Spooky, huh?

Here's a little bit of kind-of related info about this missing child episode. I was reminded of it while watching SUZ. Here in the metroplex area where I live when a child goes missing for whatever reason, kidnapping, alien abduction - oh scratch that last one- heh heh, the police inact a program of alerting the public by saturating the news medias with the missing child's description etc, and the program is called, are you ready? The Amber Plan. Did you get chills?

I can't really comment on your comments about where this story is going in regards of 6 1/2 years of conspiracy and even what WMM told Mulder in the movie. The teasers for next week, esp. with CSM's involvement seemed to indicate in would go back in that direction. But Paper Hearts didn't hurt the conspiracy angle at all. Oh, yes, I just received my copy of the new TV Guide and it has an advertisement of the next episode that says, "His search is finally over. Tonight, Mulder uncovers the truth about his sister's abduction." I know, though, that TV Guide has run some pretty untruthful promos in the past. Like that one from Triangle you had up recently.

oh the anticipation, can we wait a week?!
