there's nothing romantic between them?

Hey Sleep! I know some of your reasoning in the past was that you didn't think they acted lke they were in love or anything more than friends. Do you still feel that way after these episodes? Well we'll see as the Season goes on for you if that opinion changes. ;-)

You may be guessing that I'm dwindling back to the shipper side again after my em to you that I was becoming noromo. Yep, this last ep had a lot to do with my recent feelings. I've always said that I would settle for whatever direction CC antd to take., If he antd them to stay just friends that would be fine and if he wanted to attempt a more intimate relationship that would b e fine too. My postion hasn't changed on that. But it looks as if version two MAY be coming into fruiton and so far he's doing a bang up (pardon the pun! ;-) )job of it without being sappy. I never want a relationship to oveshadow the storytelling.

Why is the possible explantion for the last scene in Requiem so abhorrant to noromos? I'm curious because that's how a lot of them feel and I don't quite undertand. Is it just the idea that it would be handled badly and you see no way that it couldn't be like a bad family drama or does just the idea of M&S doing the wild thing turn you of?

I thought Mulder's reaction to Fowley's death was very apropriate. He was stunned and may have had some emotion later on his own. (He proabably didn't want to start bawling in front of Scully because he knows she didn't like her much!). But I really think Mulder realized that Fowley was not an important part of is life. I don't think he ever loved her and while I'm sure he found her passing sad he wasn't overwhelmed by it because she didn't man that much to him the way someone else does. ;-)
