I thought this ep was ok but as you say dev, not memorable. I always like stories involving poppets. I love that word for some reason. I call my youngest daughter poppet. Only as a joke at first because our friend calls her kid Poppet and it was kind of an injoke about us doing the Crucible play at college. Now it has stuck. I was thinking of making some poppets of my own of the teachers at my kids' school so that when I needed money I could stick them and get called in to substitute. I'm joking of course.

I remember alot of people thought Scully taking the doctor away to a deserted place, alone was really dumb. What did you think of this? The head under the blanket was also gross and I had to cover my eyes for that. I knew it was coming having read the spoilers but if i hadn't I would have gotten a horrible shock. I rate this ep above Rush and Goldberg and FPS and X COPS. But it isn't one of the best. I think by the time i saw it I was hanging out for ship and was getting sick of there being none all season. That was my only disappointment. I too liked the guessing comments and unlike alot of people didn't think it was over done.
