I watched Je Souhaite yesterday. I love that ep. I do have to disagree with all your comments on Mulder's expression at the end. I thought he was a bit guarded and understated in his expression. I couldn't really work out what was going through his mind. But after reading your comments about Mulder wishing for Scully to have her fertility restored, I agree that he could have asked for this. Pretty specific. He could have asked for two more wishes on the proviso that he would set the genie free. One wish could have been to have Scully's fertility restored and then the other to free the genie. Perhaps Mulder set up that little [it just felt like the thing to do] occaision for him and Scully knowing that it would lead to sex[as such get togethers no doubt do these days] and perhaps a chance to test out his wish maybe. No time like the present. And she did say she was fairly happy. He wouldn't wish for any kind of relationship with her due to the backfiring possibility and also he would want her love freely given and not as a result of some wish he had made. But wishing her fertility restored could have been pretty straightforward. Not really fair though, thinking of getting her pregnant on purpose without her knowing. It is like a woman who stops taking the pill without telling her husband.

Also, does anyone wish they could actually see some evidence that M and S really are doing it? I don't mean a pregnancy I mean actions between them that show that they are in an intimate relationship? Scully's little smile at the end of JS told something and Mulder's Fight Club romance comment but something a bit less subtle would go down well with me. As much as I love to pick and scrounge for every little nuance in every little jesture it would be a bit less exhausting if CC would just give us something more substantial in the evidence department.
