that Mulder was realizing and wishing for a life with Scully and a baby. That somehow he finally realized that he needs a family--he doesn't have ANY family anymore that we know of and even though his childhood one was somewhat disfunctional, he at least had his parents. We know he has told her he loves her to her face (she thought he was "out of it") in Triangle and I think even asked her to marry him (don't remember the episode). We have seen the tenderness he has shown (in All Things and others), have seen his passion explode when she was returned from being abducted and have seen enough physical contact to assume that neither one is objecting to being close. Somehow I think she will help Mulder become comfortable with babies. As for the David Crosby reference--I think now that this was a clue to indicate what was happening in their private lives--filled with inside jokes--with this clue telling us just what is happening behind closed doors.

I don't think the baby will take her from Mulder and the XFiles--I think it will ensure they are all together more than ever.
