Subject: You could be quite right, CW... Small SPOILERS

...and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if CC pulled a flashback that someone was really the ABH. That would be sooo CC!!

But, Islandgirl, do you have knowledge of the time line in these first 6 - 8 eps? I read that the first ep takes place the same week of of Requiem, so could it be that each ep follows close behind, therefore only 6 to 8 WEEKS passing instead of months?

CW, I thought the same thing about CSM getting to the other side of the lake so fast. Someone who reviews the eps, (autumn, maybe? I don't remember) noticed it too, and said he knew a short cut through the woods. LOL But maybe some of the time it *was* the bounty hunter.

I too was perplexed at the way ABH looked at Mulder in the scene when he joins the abductees. I could only wonder at the time that it meant 'good thing you came willingly, 'cause I sure enough was gonna come and get you otherwise!' But it is very disturbing, anyway.

About the ABH's healing touch - interesting you point out that Mrs. Mulder died of a rare cancer even though she had been healed of the stroke by the alien. Maybe it was a side effect of alien tampering with the human body? Also, I have wondered for some time, in Gethesmane, Scully's long cancer-dying scenes are drawn-out to the max. Why didn't CSM provide the BH to cure Scully instead of the sorry cat-and-mouse game he played with Mulder to find the chip, gambling with Scully's life in the meanwhile, when he professes to care about her? What a vile, vile person he was - or is, whatever.

Very interesting thread, you two.
:) Chantal
