Subject: Where did you read that, detoured?

I would like to read the same if you tell me where you read it. I have to agree, I thought he looked bored in parts too, but then look how Mulder was written. But I thought DD was very good when Mulder was questioning Scully in the hallway or the office (?) about religion, as well as the ending. He truly seemed sincere in wanting to understand where she was coming from and she took insult to it. I remember being surprised she felt insulted and that she couldn't tell he was being sincere.
Not a favorite episode of mine either. As you said too much was done just for dramatic effect. As for Scully running through the apt for the phone, how about the gun? Wasn't it lying right there on the floor and all she had to do was pick it up! And the infamous 'Mulder not checking his recorder' thing - just for dramatic effect.

As for the candles, have we ever seen even one any where in her apt? Again, just dramatic effect.

What I remember most about this episode is the huge division caused among fans of Scully shooting Pfaster. Probably the most controversial episode up until Closure.

Do you have any rules about bringing up religion on this forum, detoured? Dare I ask how many people agree or disagree with a statement made about Scully on another forum about her IQ dropping dramatically whenever religion is in an episode?

Delete this if you'd rather. But hey it's a topic...

Chantal
