Along the lines of Scully calling the cops, when Pfaster ewas chasing her in the apartment, instead of her rushing to the phione why the heck didn't she just get out of there?! Run down the hall and bang on the neighbors door. Or keep running out into the street?! I just chocked it up to 'dramatic effect'. *sigh*

I wanted to comment again on this ep in general. I wasn't sure if I liked it much the first time except for the last segment which I thought was well done. So I decided to give it another chance and my opnion didn't change. I thouhgt the whole thing ws very convaluted and contrived and the supernatural stuff just didn't fit. It would have worked so much better if Pfaster had just been a very real serial killer instead of all that stuff with thre 666 clock and the song. And suddenly we hear she had the nickname Scout? Might it at least have been a bit more chilling if the Reverend or Pfaster had called her Starbuck?

Recently I've been reading how much David disliked Season 7. Watching him in this ep I can see he looks totally bored in it. I don't think he thought it was a good script either. The only part where I felt he put in an effort was in the last scenes with Scully shooting Pfaster and in Scully's apartment at the end.
