Yes I do think that the BH does have some kind of affiliation with Mulder if not friendship. What if, when Mulder was abducted as a child [before Sam was taken], the BH struck up a kind of friendship that Mulder doesn't remember but BH of course does. As for Sam being taken by men. .....well I think they are all taken by men/aliens /whoever. They are all in it together. Whether humans come and take people or the aliens do , it is all for the same purpose unless.... the aliens experiment to see how they can best use humans to help them reproduce and the men take humans to test them to try and find a way to thwart the aliens attempts to take over the planet by making the vaccine etc. Sam was obviously taken by CSM for vaccine related tests whereas Mulder was obviously an actual alien abductee. It is hard to get one's thoughts around all this but fun trying.
I do agree with you about the BH curing Scully's barrenness. He could have done it but i agree that it would be too convenient. I'd prefer to think that she wasn't totally barren but had enough ova taken to thwart regular ovulation but not make it totally impossible.

On a different track......

I read a nasty piece of writing quoting CC as saying that this new guy is there to replace Mulder and make it possible to go on into 10 seasons and develop the Scully character more. Cc certainly has set it up that way. I know one thing, I won't be going to see any movie without Mulder or an intact MSR.
