...he would have a bigger CLUE! Not that I should be so down on him because, it appears that, he did do what I would have done with the MSR in his position. But man, he comes off worse in an interview than DD. Did you happen to watch CBS's "Survivor"? The guy who won always twisted things around so that he could act like he had a clue even when he was clue-free. This is an old smart-kid technique that CC uses often to sound cryptic rather than clueless. Having used it myself and having many times seen my family use it, I am totally unimpressed.

I figure if you know what you are talking about there is no need to be cryptic. I know that the media thinks CC is being coy and clever but I have noticed that the X-Files seldom delivers a really standout twist that nobody saw coming. In fact, the only time I have been floored was when Scully made her "Requiem" statement. So, this is a rant, but anyway, what I think my point is....is that what I wrote(and now they are saying CC wrote) is natural storytelling, nothing unexpected about it. Maybe that is why people watch less TV as they age, I mean, there are only about 100 stories and once you've seen them all it gets boring.

Rab-id
who still loves to be suprised by truly clever plot twists.
