Hey there, BDM...

You are right...you are entitled to your own opinion, as is everyone.

I would just like to suggest two thoughts to ponder.

1) If you, BDM, just for grins, put yourself in DD's position (not to say that you would!)...for just a second or two...can you honestly say that you "wouldn't" go out and buy a luxurious house, with all the trimmings?? I find it hard to believe you wouldn't. As for the charity, we all give in different ways...it doesn't always have to be with money....from what I have heard, DD does have his areas of concern, and he does what he deems appropriate, for his particular situation. It is very easy for us to judge someone from "our own" perspective, which is NOT "their" perspective...it is like apples to oranges...it really doesn't work well.

2) As for DD making the exhorbitant amount of money he is (according to our standards, that is)...it is us fans who are paying DD that money...stars are basically paid based upon "SUPPLY & DEMAND"...like sports players (and other areas of life). If we don't like what they are making, wE CAN SAY SO...BY NOT WATCHING ANYTHING THEY ARE IN...that is the only way we can "complain" about the amount of money they make (IMO). What I am saying is, we can't complain about it if we are watching their product, because that is what is used, ultimately, to determine how much they are paid. We actually DO have a say in the amount of their salaries (agreed, it takes many, many fans to "say" they don't agree, in order to impact the ratings)!

I just wanted to comment on those two areas of interest (at least they are interesting to ME). As with you, BDM, this is just my humble opinion! Keep up the debate! G-WW
