But I do believe the love is both ways. They are both sacrificing their happiness for the good of the cause. ITs just the way they are. I think our disagreement here is not so much the MSR but what is being "IN LOVE". Myself, being a woman who has been 'IN LOVE' with a man who in 'IN LOVE' with me for 13 years I think I can speak with a little authority on the Subject. Respect, yes its there, don't always agree with each other but still respect each others theorys, beliefs and ideals. Willing to go to the ends of the earth for each other, yup, they did that too. Physical attraction. Scully is a little more restrained at this that Mulder is. He uses every opportunity to touch Scully. Scully at least waits till there is good cause or they are alone. She is a little more professional than Mulder is. Another plus that she adds to the partnership.


Misterio, I wanted to point something out to you regarding 'The Quest', the one you claim is Mulders and Scully is just along for the ride because of her feelings for Mulder. And that she doesn't really help him at all in the X-Files. That she really holds him back. That IS what you said isn't it??

Can you say *C*R*E*D*A*B*I*L*I*T*Y*?

With out Scully all Mulder would have is a lot of weird theorys.They may be the truth but what good are strange theorys if Science isn't their to back them up. Going back to the Pilot, it was Scully who documented the physical evidence while Mulder was painting yellow X's on the highway. During 'Ice' it was Scully who made the connection that the two worms would destroy each other thereby saving the host while Mulder, where was he???Oh yes, locked in the storage room. In 'Small Potatos' do you really think they would have been able to arrest Eddie if Scully had not found the scientific evidence of the muscle abnormalities to back up the claim that Eddie could change his face to look like anyones? I doubt it.

That is just three examples, I am sure there are many more.
