While I really liked it, I respect your opinion of GA's show, and I certainly understand where you're coming from because I expected the things you mentioned wouldn't appeal to everyone. However, I have a quibble with one comment:

I'm afraid you lost me with that one. Is this a reference to DD's near-doctorate in, what is it, english lit? If so, I disagree that advanced degrees automatically translate into a better work product.
