I was surprised and pleased when I saw that. I guess everybody gets their hand at writing this season. When do we get the Krycek/Nick Lea episode? Hoo-doggy! That would be a good one.

I really liked this episode but I question my motivation. I am *such* a Scully fan, I'm predisposed to love any episode centered around her. There were many things I found puzzling, not the least of which was Scully actually going off with CSM. And if CSM took her to Pennsylvania, why the hell did it take them 30 hours to get there from DC? (Or was he just saying that she'd been up 30 hours?) Another question: I'm assuming Scully drove herself away from CSM's house (or wherever he took her), so why not go back there as well as to his "office"? Was Cobra's body found? Did anybody look?

For all the times Mulder has ditched Scully and assumed she would understand, I did NOT like the way he treated her and looked at her there at the end. I also did not like that Scully looked apologetic. Excellent acting by GA and DD(!) - their expressions conveyed so much! I sat up straight and started huffing and puffing at the television when he gave her that "how could you do this to me" look. I'm almost started shouting "Hey, this isn't about *you*, buster" but caught myself in time.
