Oh yes, I love CSM too. He absolutely fascinates me. Brilliant, articulate, witty, devious, ruthless, absolutely incorrigible, what's not to like? I sincerely hope his claim to be dying is just another lie told to Scully to gain her sympathy and perhaps make his story more believable. Although he did appear unwell, he still looked better than he did in "Closure", more like a man recuperating rather than one progressively deteriorating for 5 weeks. I would be inconsolable in the event of his death. The world would no doubt be a safer, but far less interesting place without him. Besides, he gets all the best lines.

LOL re: your comments about Mulder's landlord.

Sybilia, who wonders why CSM doesn't install some type of security system wherever he lives? How many times have people (Mulder, Skinner, etc.) broken in and threatened him with guns? Surely he has access to the most sophisticated technology.
