Subject: The one thing I didn't like about

First of all, I really, *REALLY* liked this ep, so I don't want to sound too "nitpicky", but there was one thing I didn't like, or maybe just didn't understand, about this ep. We have had, throughout the run of the X-Files, several episodes dealing with Scully's faith. While she was a non-practicing Catholic in the early seasons, she returned to her spritual roots several years ago and has, apparently, been a devout Catholic Christian for the past few season.
Why, then, did she have her great spirtual revelation in a Buddhist temple? That just seems out-of-character for Scully. It just seems, if a character has been clearly defined as having deep Christian beliefs, any revelation from God they had would be in a church, while reading the Bible, in front of cross, etc. By the same token, if a character was an Orthodox Jew or a devout Muslim, I wouldn't expect to see them coming to some sort of great spirtual understanding while contemplating a crucifix.
