Subject: Gillian Anderson Rules. OMG. I was in shock the entire episode...

Let me say first off that "all things" is now my favorite episode. The whole thing was so beautifully DIFFERENT from any other episode of The X-Files. It was a joy to watch and know that GA wrote and directed this and it turned out so well. I love the special effects she used and the story was deeply emotional and well thought out. GA created a gem, I must say. It wasn't soap-opra-ish at ALL though I'm sure some are going to disagree. It was a great Scully ep. I think we needed to see more deeply into Scully's past and GA did a wonderful job. The end was a great Mulder/Scully moment too, for the Shipper in me :-) I thought the scene where she was in the temple was breathtaking and mysterious. The scenes between her and Daniel were great and heart felt, letting us see another side to Scully. I do have to say though that Maggie was a little TOO bitchy for my taste, but otherwise a good character. All in all, the ep was great and I am now going to go watch it again. Let me know what you all thought about "all things"
