Subject: I think COPS was a great show to do a cross-over with because
In reply to: Islandgirl 's message, "For those of us who disliked the "XF/COPS"Crossover (and even for those of you who did) what *OTHER* current TV series would you have rather seen them do a crossover with?" on 19:53:29 02/21/00 Mon

1) both involve law enforcement and 2) we don't need to be familiar with any COPS characters to enjoy it. We won't expect any further development of COPS characters, and the writers won't need to show any. They get to concentrate completely on M&S, and all other characters become what they really are- accessories to the Mulder and Scully show! I'm actually kinda serious.

That said, I would love a cross-over with my hero, Steve Erwin, The Crocodile Hunter! I love him. I absolutely love him. And it would really work. M&S could be hunting a crocodile-like monster or a man who is using crocodiles for evil (instead of good, like Steve) and they could call Steve in to help capture the croc/evil crocman. Whee!

Alas, you do know that the reason they were able to do the Ally McBeal/The Practice Crossover was because both are David E. Kelley shows. I think we've already exhausted all the CC possibilities. First Millenium, and then that stupid reference to Harsh Realm in "Closure."

In all seriousness, I do want the X-files to stay pure of characters that (for some reason seem to) have lives outside of TXF. The Mulder and Scully show stays the Mulder and Scully show, thank you very much. Now if DD and GA want to invade all the other shows, that's fine by me. Mulder and Scully make a guest appearance on Fraiser! On Wheel of Fortune! On Sesame Street! On days of our lives! On Who wants to be a millionaire! On the channel 6 nightly news! M&S Everywhere! Bwaa haaa haa haaa haaa!!

hairytoes, who is actually a little excited now. Great idea, Islandgirl!
