Det, I know what you mean with the writing versus acting thing, but Mimi Rogers did nothing with her character throughout her episodes. Contrast that with what Carrie Hamilton achieved in forty-five minutes as Pam in 'Monday'. Not only did I like her as a character, but I sympathised with her situation & cared about her. And if memory serves, she really didn't have that much dialogue, everything seemed to come from her gestures & performance in general. So I can't help thinking that Mimi Rogers just didn't invest anything in her character and played it as cold & flat as it was on the page.
