Long time Stardoe! I am glad your doing well. I have thought of you often and thought I must email you but I usually get those thoughts in the middle of the night and knew if I emailed you then I might wake you......HAHAHAHAHAHA. *note about my email, please use my yahoo addie from now on. I had to cancel my home internet due to lack of funds*

Mayor loudly enters Stardoes basement and looks around.

"this place is in no condition for a Shipperville Christmas party.....is is a mess" the mayor complains as she wipes a spider web away. Stardoe, caught in a daydream jumps as she hears the mayors voice.

"It is a mess, but the parties are usually held at the klub. Has something changed I don't know about?"

"Nothing has changed my old friend" the mayor flops down into an oversized chair. Both ladies cough as dust poofs up from the cushions. "I am glad your here. I honestly don't know what is going one around here. I drop in a couple of times a week and no one is here, other than Bubba of course. But even he is keeping to his room under the stairs, afraid to come out. Aliens hate large empty spaces."

Stardoe pulls her chair closer and leans towards the sad mayor. "what happened, where did everyone go?"

"To their other lives I presume, you know we all have them. Things are not the same anymore. No one has the time to come here and play. I know in our hearts we are still Shippervillians, and always will be. I just wish we could talk more often"

"Well have no fear mayor, I am back, others will come too." Stardoe picks up her blackberry and begins tapping on it, "they will come back, they have too" she whispers to herself as she sends messages around the world.

The mayor looks hopefully at her long lost friend. If anyone can cure the blues, it is an aussie with an attitude!
