Although you do present a good argument IG. :-) But agree with Rab that Mulder seemed awkward. Even though I think the OS sets this ep in season 7 that scene actually has more of a much earlier feel to me. True, Mulder makes himsef comfortable at Scully's but I don't think its that out of the ordinary for him to be there especay considering the news he is waiting to hear. And their ending 'miracle' moment was no more intimate than the Memento Mori scene in S4.

It is still a good possibiity I think that their first time was right after the close of Per Manum, whenever that was.
