I heard that thier trucks will not even pump water? How can they put out fires? I was listening to the scanner, they was called out to a brush fire at Pinecrest Drive. Member 3109 asked for help from Sharps Chapel VFD? Last I looked, that road was less than 2 mile outside the city limits of Maynardville? Both the Rescue Squad and MVFD were closer with the equipment needed, then PVFD had a station that was also closer than SCVFD? I'm glad no ones house was in danger with thinking like that.
