doll advice

hi,

i'm a mom who has never bought an lm doll before. i've been trying to research them as i'd like to get one for my 8 year old for christmas. her main desire would be for it to look and feel as real as possible. i know that she'd like as much vinyl on the arms and legs as possible, but then do they not move at all? you all are the experts, and i'd really appreciate your advice, thanks!

  - Hi, I hope you see this. My suggestion for your daughter would be to get a Lee Middleton My Own Baby. They come in different styles, like hair and eye colors. There are 2 toddler style dolls in this series, but an infant would feel more real. Actually, my little sister got an ABC My Own Baby when she was 8. They sell these in the J.C. Penney catalog (probably the x-mas toy book), but a good website is www.samanthasdolls.com. For pictures of the My Own Babies, try www.leemiddleton.com. I hope this could help!
