Hi there, no you are not too old, I am 17 and I have one LM doll infact i have Little Skater the one that you have posted a picture of (its so nice to see someone else like him becuse i dont know anyone else who has him) He is absolutely gorgeous my doll is called Zachary. I have had him since about July last year but a few weeks ago i decided to pack him away back in his box to make sure he stays in good condition. Like you i never thought any of my friends would understand so I never told them and if they came to my house I would just put him in another room. it took me a long time to persuade my parents but eventually i got him and i have never regretted it so i say if you want one then go for it.
